Coalesce

Coalescence speaks to the joining of disparate parts into a new, organic unity. This card was made with that concept in mind. One of my most sacred goals is to shed separation and come into true and unguarded connection with the world around me. I aspire to be immersed in the experience of being a human animal, living in co-existence with the Land and living creatures around me.

Sometimes I achieve this goal.

Other times I feel pretty stuck in my human separateness. But I still try because, in part, I’m addicted to the peace I feel when I come back to the most feral version of myself. As often as I fail at this unfurling of my protective layer, I still try…

I read, meditate, make art, listen to music, go out and see the simple, beautiful things in my neighborhood, spend time with people I love, spend lots of time alone. All of these things feel organically real.

I hope you are able to coalesce with the heart wrenching beauty in your world. And that you offer yourself patience and tenderness when you can’t feel the connection.
